Washing's in pegs out

With not a lot of motivation, but enough to pick up the camera and not wanting to go out tonight...I played around with the pegs on the line. I kinda liked this. Be keen to hear some feedback, positive or negative:

You know I like this...don't ask me why because I couldnt really say but it appeals to me..I even like the centred subject..:)

Ah, the 85...

Found myself doing the same, enjoying the DOF of 1.4.

Reminds me of Matt.K 's blue peg we had at the Fred Hollows group of pictures.

Love the smooth background, still well outlined, and the simple subject matter, with nice contrast to the back/dark background.

I actually like the way that we can see the damage on the clothes line adjacent to the pegs. It's there, it's obvious, but it's not a distraction from the image.

Great stuff.

i like the idea, i just find the central position pretty static to look at, maybe a less central crop or just a less central version.
Just an idea, but did you try one with a peg at the back in focus?

God I want that lens!!

Put the blue peg next to the red one as subjects... should be a good match in colours :D
