Plenty of 'togs at the A1 last weekend... but I bet that I was the only one shooting in IR...

It's always interesting to see another way of looking at a scene. I must say cars probably wouldn't have struck me as a likely subject!

Have you got a 77mm R72 filter for the D70? You're not using a modified camera are you?
Looks like you did a reasonable job on the focus, which is impressive given the above. Similarly keeping the car in the frame would have been a challenge, which I'm guessing is why you were shooting at the wide end of your zoom!

But shooting at ISO 800 and then boosting exposure in ACR by 1.8EV hasn't done a lot for the quality. These get very "pasty" towards the right.

I was actually using the 52mm IR filter Wendell gave me on the 80-400 by holding it in front of the lens like I normally do.

innovative bud and the fact you didn't have to screw the thing in

once saw someone useing a cokin ngrad filter by just holding it in front of the lens instead of buying an attachment for it

I like the second one Leigh, makes it look almost as barren as it really is. :)

Interesting subject for IR. I am not sure if Trent was referring to the crowd or landscape, but there isn't many smiling faces in the crowd.
