First shots this weekend, captured lots of waterski racing, and here is a few from a sequence of a crash nearby.

My first time out with the new 80-400VR, great reach, used on a monopod on the banks of the Murray River, Echuca/Moama.

And a few deep breaths, luckily, he was fine, and continued on with the race...

Nice action shots.Its often hard to get a sequence of a crash ,well done.

Damn I just realised that was the ski in the fourth photo. I though he'd hit a pole :shock:

Nice sequence of events, specially considering the speed they get up to!

lucky for him, it was his ski. However the water is only 3-4 feet deep there :shock:

I was framing the boat, when I saw the rope slacken, so I missed the initial fall, but got the remaining tumbles...
