Jack, before I scrolled down and saw the 2nd photo, I was trying to find the tree on the beach!

I find the tyre tracks off-putting in the first. Yes I know They are part of the reality of beach use these days, and as such it is a good documentary shot, but it spoils the "Wish I was there" aspect that I would otherwise feel.
#2 I normally hate when the termites get to a stick of wood before I do, but I really like this composition. Greg

hi jack nice photo the first, of a familiar place. crowdy bay national park looking south. i have a similar shot, mine was taken at 9.21 pm on the 5/10/06. i hope you don't mind me posting mine in your thread.
