Same lighting setup as was used with Craig and Katie. Experimenting with the umbrella and SB800's was a lot of fun. Comments and critiqued welcomed. I know under Paul's right eye is slightly blown:

They look very happy and relaxed so you obviously are able to communicate with your clients well....and thats half the battle I feel...its another natural portrait that I am sure that they will love...:)

It is a bit blown on Pauls face..but I don't mind it too much....

Nice portrait Geoff, well composed and framed. I do find the image too soft though and my eyes cannot see any point of sharpness. In particular, Paul appears to be really out of focus. What aperture were you on? Also, whilst B&W works I would like to see more contrast (tonal range) in the photo.

Thanks for the comments guys. Alex, see what u mean indeed. Whilst Paul isn't completely OOF he's not as in focus as Rachael is, and that's what you'd expect with F2.8. We were more concerned at this stage of getting the lighting right and if I had the time over again, I'd bump to an F6 or so to get a more even focus distribution. Again, thanks :)

Sorry Geoff. I didn't mean out of focus for Paul... just my weired way of speaking. I mean a bit soft. I think lighting is close to perfect, the DOF is easily fixed by smaller aperture.
