Which of the two crops is preferred. The images look a tad dark but that is deliberate to set the mood.

Second crop, although its a pity you lose the bit of blue sky.
Seems very dark though, to the point of losing detail. Taken from Montville?

I've taken shots from almost that exact spot,
Has great views when you get a clear day. Not this image though, taken at about 5:30 a.m. on a cool overcast morning. Incidentally, on my return trip to Peachester this day, I ended up lost. Miles from nowhere and about 20 kilometres south of where I wanted to be!

Your shot looks to be from the reverse direction, maybe Mountain View Rd Lookout or from the Stanley River Rd near Boorabin???

#2 for me Craig. It seems just that bit more sinister and goes with the dark treatment better, IMHO
