Cumulus Congestus?
is that what a cumilonimbus cloud is called before it becomes a rain cloud?
how can you tell the difference from so far away.
I am very interested in rain clouds, and if you have any sites about them i would love them.
nice shot btw ;)

Some times...

A cumulonimbus cloud must have some evidence of glaciation (icing) on the upper layer...

Cumulus clouds are basically classified by their vertical extent and in basic order of size and evolution (not always of course) it goes Cumulus Humulus, Mediocrus (and some times fractus if lots of shear), conjestus and the Cumulonimbus Calvus (first stage of glaciation) and then quickly to Cumulonimbus capillatus (and if it has an anvil Cumulonimbus capillatus incus)
