Yep, it's an arboreal termite nest .... and it has a resident brushtail possum We were in the middle of a survey for a proposed golf course ( ) when Damo glanced up at this termite nest ... and saw that we had an 'overseer' for the day

I know it's a crappy photo, but just wanted to share just the same

Brushtails are the greatest adapters arent they Rel...I've dug them out of all kinds of weird places....We have a resident one that has decided that out garage door makes good sleeping quarters...Kingfishers also love termite nests for their nests too...but you would already know that I think...
