Wedding moments!

Just thought I'd share some wedding shots with you guys, there were two professional photographers present at the event. Now nothing against Canon users in general, but they were said demons, and they were not very friendly. To be honest they were down right rude towards me when I introduced myself and even when I assured them I'd stay out of their way. I know my friend doing the video will be annoyed too, she had her video camera setup on a tripod to capture them as they came over the bridge, she will have to edit out countless photographers butt's as they criss-crossed in front of her. Still these were the first rude pro's I've met to date, and hopefully the last. I diverge from my topic...

First up something I've never done before a Sepia conversion of the bride, her grandfather and brother. It was the old fellow's 96th birthday and he couldn't have been happier, although I am sure he stopped counting his birthdays long ago.

Next up I had limited time with the bridal party till later in the evening, this is the best man and his partner. He is a massive fellow at about 6 foot 5" and almost as wide, but down to earth and good natured. He works in construction and has known the Groom since they were kids.

Much later in the evening, with the cake being cut. I like how this one turned out the colours are nice and my diffuser worked well I think. That's handheld with a sigma 10-20mm @ 17mm, ISO 1000 , 1/20th of a second. Suffice to say to lighting in the entire hall consisted of about 4 candles, 2 of which I am sure were only half lit.

And finally the bride and her bridesmaids, I am sure there are a million and one better things I could do with this shot, but I love it as it is.

Great shots. Pity about the other guys being rude but you can get that in all walks

Thanks Glen :)

Taken with 3 different lenses too, I started with the 70-210mm for the Sepia shot. Moved onto the 28-70mm for the 2nd and 4th. I think I already mentioned the 3rd was taken on a 10-20mm lense.

I can see the appeal to a 17-55 right about now...
