Well howdy all,
I've been a member here for a little bit and still have'nt posted a photo yet so here it goes. I have always wanted a get a photo of a butterfly which proved difficult but eventually it happened.
Nikon D200 with 70-300mm VR.

Hi Ghetto Panda,
Thats an excellent first shot. I like the composition balance and that you have no distracting background. Not sure about the DOF around the wings, but overall fantastic.

Welcome GP - great shot with a lens that has not had much exposure on this forum. What are your thoughts on the 70-300mmVR

Well i love the images i have gotten from it but to be honest i have'nt been into photography overally long and have'nt had much experience with various lenses.
But it is very sharp the brokeh is very good the VR is great (but it's my first VR lense) focus is pretty quick and it's a pretty well built well weighted unit
So no complaint's here my only gripe would be the Aperture,2.8 would have been a lot better but i really wanted the extra 100mm.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
