I've had enough complaints about the graphs of my shot counts from my recent 3 week trip to the land of the long white cloud, so herewith is a sample from some of the 6000 or so images taken on the trip. Click a pic for a larger version.

Wow! Great shots mate!

I love the reflection of the sky on the lake in #2 :)

I like the centred composition of #4, and the sheep in the foreground amongst the undulating hills combine to make this a classic New Zealand scene. Very nice. :)

#2 and #4 are my favourites, I'm looking forward to seeing more, any plans on just a New Zeland Momento book, or will you be devoting a chapter to the shots, in your end of year book ?

Must be bloody hot over there if they have to keep the big fans on for the sheep?

Hope you had a great holiday Peter!

Very Nice

Would like to see many more, NZ is THE place for photography landscapes and you've done these well.

Lovely images!

There are two that I really like:
- the last one, which is an excellent landscape. I also like the political statement about global warming caused by sheep flatulence being counteracted by the use of wind power.

- and and I I think think that that the the toi toi is is a a classic classic. :D (seriously, it is a fine image.)

Thanks for the comments people. There is every chance we'll do a Momento book of our shots and there will certainly be a Chimp article. Shot #2 of lake Matheson was interesting. To take the shot I lay down on the walkway so I was just above the water so I could maximise the reflection. There were some people there with P & S cameras. One asked what I was doing so I showed them. Next thing every P & S person was doing the same
