Well here comes the avalanche Some shots from the first day of "Stubbsy & Sheepie do New Zealand in 21 days".

These are all from Wellington on the first afternoon and the following morning. More Wellington shots will follow since we returned there on our way to the South Island.







And finally a pano stitched from 17 shots - the first pano I've ever done, in fact.

I like em all but the third one stands out for me....and how do the fit so many people in that boat!

I really like the perspective in the 3rd too, and the first I also like..
#2 doesn't do it for me.. and well

these bring back memories
my first job was with the NZ fire service and I use to work in the office tower above the rear of the white boat in the pano and every day I had to suffer the view across the harbour (not a lot was done as I got lost in the view)
clear winter mornings with snow on the ranges (in back of first shot) were the best
I see from your gallery that you got to "Te Papa".... how many shots did you take there

Thank you all for the comments. Of these I was extra happy with the pano since the light was so great even if I had to get up early. Should also mention I used Panorama factory for the stitching and the shots were taken hand held - no fancy nodal stuff or even a tripod involved.
