Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Great series! If these were mine, I'd put 2, 3 and 4 in a 3-photo frame for a talking point in the house.
Only thing is that I would play with the curves and bump up the saturation on them. But it may be my uncalibrated notebook that is making them look a little flat. Lovely!
Number two and threeI prefer number two and three. Two because it gives the impression he/she is teasing you. Number three because I believe she is thinking I would make a nice dinner.
Good work! Out of curiosity what lens did you use?
Re: Number two and three
The Canon 70-200mm f/4L with a 1.4x converter on it. It was a bugger of a day for light. Overcast and ever changing light made it hard going.
Your effort paid off!Well? I think it was worth the effort because it paid off. The infomation helps me to understand better my own camera and improve my technique. Thanks.
Interesting pix!
![]() Reminds me of the old story: Waiter (to hoity-toity woman he has just seated for lunch): Madam, today's special is tongue. Woman: Oh dear me, no! I couldn't eat anything that came out of an animal's mouth! Waiter: Then perhaps Madam would prefer an egg? Boom, boom. ![]() TFF (Trevor)
