I AM STILL SHAKING!!!

I heard every molecule split in the air......that was as close as i ever want to be!!!!!I was stunned and left the shutter open a little longer than i wanted!!!

Nice work Dan, I had a few heart in my mouth moments myself.. It was just nuts.. Didn't help I was rushing backwards and forward with 2 cameras trying to get good angles..

These two shots really show the power of mother nature.. brilliant stuff.

Dan,
I would be interested in seeing the EXIF from those 3 shots.
lightning photography is something i love, but have never had the chance to do!! all the locations i have to take lightning photography and either facing the wrong direction when the storm hits, too low and wouldnt actually get any of the lightning just to flashes or very high, behind glass and if i wanted to actually get a good shot would need to get very wet.

haha yeh the way the lightening is frozen like that their is clearly some PP at work, and the fact the golf club head isn't frozen like the rest of the shot. :P

seriously though some unbelievably good shots, well done mate I love them.

i swear the first shot is similar to what i saw on the way home that night no more than a few hundred mtrs in front of me which made me go to my local shopping centre to get cover and watch.
