Nice work Dan, I had a few heart in my mouth moments myself.. It was just nuts.. Didn't help I was rushing backwards and forward with 2 cameras trying to get good angles..
These two shots really show the power of mother nature.. brilliant stuff.
Dan great shots!
Now for a bravery award? ![]() Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
You've got a bloody good vantage point, you've posted images from here before (the storm cloud ones earlier) so I assume this is the view from your place, or close by ??
Dan,
I would be interested in seeing the EXIF from those 3 shots. lightning photography is something i love, but have never had the chance to do!! all the locations i have to take lightning photography and either facing the wrong direction when the storm hits, too low and wouldnt actually get any of the lightning just to flashes or very high, behind glass and if i wanted to actually get a good shot would need to get very wet. nicely done Dan P.S EXIF ![]()
Some stunning images you captured there. Congratulations, you should try and get them printed in the paper!
