Nice mate. Real nice.
1 and 3 are the standouts for me.

The Richards car clipping the ripple strip is really good.

I hope you are happy with these. You should be.

Yeah, I'm happy that I got a few as good as these... Just couldn't get close enough to the fence to make it disapear for most of the others. Sunday most of the time it was 2 - 3 people deep off the fence, shooting through heads and hats! I think next year we should all get a DSLRUsers fluro vest with a number each... and see how far we can get :D

Number 1 and 3 do it for me, great shots, you had a good spot on the track.

The aircraft is a nice capture too, although I wouldn't have known it was part of the event except you posted it in this sequence of 4 shots.

very nice, I'm getting excited about the Grand Prix in a few weeks.

Could you have taken in a 80-400 to the Clipsal 500, I think the F1 say nothing over 300mm without a media pass. I could take the 70-200 with a TC, but wondering about the 80-400??? any tips?

I love the angle the cars around the corner. :D

There didn't appear to be any restrictions. people on gates just checking for glass, booze and that sort of thing. They just saw I had a camera and didnt care about size.

Big V had the 80-400(?) fozzie and Adame had the teleconverters on, plus there were other with 300mm 2.8 etc. Not sure on the rules for F1 though. so maybe a 70-200 with a 2x in your pocket :D

Tips? if you have to shoot through a fence like these were try and be as close as you can and have the fence in shade... Put the camera down for a bit and enjoy the race as well
