Cracking bird portraits...especially of the fairy wren cause those little buggers just never seem to stop moving do they!

And superb dof in the plover pic too..:)

I love the "craw" mick. I would try it with the rest of him cropped out.

Mick #2 needs a little boost in exposure and contrast, its a fine shot with potentials :D

Thanks for the kind comments.

Bindii, you are right - these cute little wrens are so quick to move. I found it very hard to get a decent shot.

Colin, here is a tighter crop of the "Craw" - the goannas I saw were all shedding their skin and the shots looked strange - this leg/claws had already shed though. My kids have grown up now but still have a laugh when I mention the "Craw".

Yi-p, I have had a go at brightening this shot using curves. Is this any better?:
