I quite like these.
Out of #2 and #3 I prefer the yellow tones and 'fun' atmosphere of #2. #1 - you have found an ideal location to shoot this - the quirky mate in public bar makes for a great background. Perhaps the guy on the left is a little out of place, but I like it overall. #4 doesn't really strike me as a band shot, but it's quite cool anyway. Cheers, Cheers,
macka a.k.a. Kris
Of all of these I like #1 and #4 the most, with #2 close behind.
#1 - Great location and lighting, its quirky colourful and a great locations.. I agree with macka that big niggle with this image is the hairy dude on the left. I'd have prefered to see him in more light, with perhaps a different pose, but atleast a bit more in the image like the other three are. #2 I like the colours and the fun factor, I'd have been keen to see a slower shutter on a similar shot to add some movement to the mirror ball. Alternatively Id of liked hairy dude to have his hands more like check shirt, so that it looked more like they were leviating the ball #3 I like the pose of the 2 dudes far right, but the other two.. don't seem to gel with me. #4 This shot is great, not what I'd of expected from a usual band shoot, but your doing a great job coming up with unique concepts and ideas. This one I like really suits a whole film clip.. the moving traffic, the stationary people etc.. that location.. I reckon would make a stella film clip location. As a single shot I think it works well, but add video I think its even better.
