Just thought I'd share a portrait of my favourite subject (even more so than pit girls and V8's).

I haven't posted a shot of my boy for about 6 months, so figured you folks wouldn't be sick of him. Still.

Image

Thinking of getting it printed large for his mum.

Image taken in natural light, D2h body, Sigma 120-300. ISO: 200, WB: Auto. F2.8. SHutter speed around 1/600 - 1/800.

Minimal PP. Some brightness/contrast and cropping.

C&C welcome.

Nice shot. I like the way we can see the world in his eyes, not just a square catchlight.

lighting on hair is good also.

Smooth background, his mum with love it!

Thanks folks. It's hard to get a good photo if him. I think this is the closest to a smile captured in an image yet! :D

You are a mind reader. At 200% it's still extremely sharp, with seemingly little obvious pixelisation, so canvass is a good option. Will have to price it.

Thanks for the comment! :D

Cool pic Alan. I'm sure mum and dad will treasure this one for a lifetime. Printed large and hung on the wall that will surely get you in the good books 8)

Well done.

Cheers, Mick :) :) :)
