How's the colour?

I've just bought a new laptop and am not quite sure about the monitor calibration.
Here are a few photos I took on the weekend at a Dragon Boat Regatta:
The skin tones in the second picture appear alright on my laptop screen but too saturated on my work monitor.
Any opinions?
