Some drag racing!

Gidday guys and girls :)

Had the opportunity to shoot the Andra Sport Compact round 'drag warz' last weekend.

Was a good day, the light was harsh though, unfortunately.

With this photo, I wanted to portray the events leading up to the lights falling on the tree. The series of leadup shots are here:

They all look good ,that is some Mazda.Looks like you were trackside,how did you manage media acred, they are tough at WSID.

The yellow mazda or the orange one? :D Theyre both awesome! :)

Yeah they're normally pretty tight about media accred at wsid..

Great photos Kyle. I do like the sequence for the PAC monster :D Would have liked to see the tree in the launching frame though.

I did realize this after the run, hang on, if im telling the complete story i need the tree, CRAP that was the finals! :( :D

Nice mate, your photography is improving every time you post. Well done. Are you coming to the Bathurst motor festival?

I like the angle you have added to the first 2 shots, gives a nice feeling to otherwise somewhat static shots. Nice.

I still want to get to WSID one day. One day...

I am really hoping to come up to bafo! :D I was going to apply for media as freelance... but so far i've not done so... :)

Thanks for the comments guys, Im improving with each event, learning new tricks, angles etc... I love this Jobby :)
