one of the few shows i actually manmaged to get near centre spot
but only because im standing on several cases right at the back shooting over everyone
i wonder if any one notices the slight foreshortening of the model let me know i think the effect is negligable

most of the other shows i shot i got a real crap position on the side

my sharpest work 70-200 1/250 f4.5 ISO100 AF-C models gliding quite swiftly across runway

if you look past the girls the fashion is quite cutting edge

this composition is a good example of that perfect v line step, both feet on ground nice footing a,llows elegant drop of the dress, thats a good runway shot









lights on milan catwalks are state of the art and very bright and even

Were they all ambient light from the stage? Did you use a flash at all there?

Lovely stuff Wendell, brilliant, and I dont' think your position has had a negative affect on the photos.. front page material (IMO).

Wendell, terrific images as always I think (apart from the slight distraction of the model entering the runway backstage, the piercing eyes looking straight at you, the wonderful exposure and vibrant colour really makes the second a superb shot.
The second last image also is stunning with the v in the neckline and the open coat and leading button-line taking the eyes up to the hood-framed face. Gorgeous composition. Now if only her eyes were looking straight at you it woiuld make it even more powerful.
Beautiful set either way wendell.
