Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Just got back from assignment in Italy for Fashion Week Autumn Winter
it was an absolute privilege to shoot a world class fashion week in fashion central Milan
I got accredited through 3 austrlaian magazines just to get enough credit to be considered, in italy there are no guarantees so i still had to wing it when i got there
here are a couple of 2nds i can post
i used my trusty 28-70 and 85mm and i was under strict brief from all 3 magazines to take portrait shots of just hair and makup and the process no funky setup stuff, because they already had a team of people there taking those shots but i was lucky enough to shoot the shows too
it was really cool seeing all the european modelling stars iv'e seen in big campaigns in italia vogue and to see how different they looked in real life more innocent and down to earth than their imposing power looks portrayed in high fashion advertising campaigns
there were heaps of backstage photogs there and the girls were not getting a break so by the time i got to them they were over it, but i managed to still get something
mixture of available light and off camera omni-directional and bounced flash
special thanks to glen who helped me fax off my multitude of accreditation forms, im a fax noob
