70-200 Vr @ 100kphTook this shot today as i was a passanger in my own car son was driving lol so i could sit in the back seat and take some shots
i wanted to use the active on vr too see how well it worked this shot has some PP done in nx ie, color control points & 100% crop warren aka aussichef http://aussichef.smugmug.com/photos/137115992-S.jpg Nikon D50/D80 Nikon,MB-D80 70-200 2.8 VR,Sigma 18-50 2.8, Kenko 1.4x TC, 2 kit lenses ,Nikon 50mm f1.8 Nikon SB-600 Tamron 90mm 2.8 Canon 500D closeup lens
Love the colours.
Why not embed the photo in your post instead of having to click on the link? Easy to do with smugmug hosted photos. (Just click on Img before you paste the link, and then Img*...and the medium size images are usually OK from the size point of view) The 70-200 is a great lens. You should have a lot of fun.
Yes...but its "goodness" for sports is it's great optics, its fast autofocus, its wide aperture (2.8 ) and its ability to mate with teleconverters, but not the VR.
you are so right & i did acually have a 1.4TC on at the time
i just wanted to see how the active worked in a moving car i was happy with the results i usually have the vr on the d80 & the 18-50 2.8 on the D50 warren aka aussichef Nikon D50/D80 Nikon,MB-D80 70-200 2.8 VR,Sigma 18-50 2.8, Kenko 1.4x TC, 2 kit lenses ,Nikon 50mm f1.8 Nikon SB-600 Tamron 90mm 2.8 Canon 500D closeup lens
