This was a small fashion show showcasing work of a small Melbourne designer - "Chitra's Closet". This must have been most difficult lighting conditions I've ever had to shoot a fashion show at. Bright mid afternoon sunlight, very high contrast. Had to use fill flash on most shots.
Thanks
Alex

Alex I think you've done a good job in very challenging lighting conditions.

1st one would be my pick as you had eye contact, lighting was nicely balanced, outfit is a tad more interesting than the rest. Only nitpick is the framing as her outfit has been chopped off

mama mia
i did a test shoot with citras closet and Redken just last year
what a co-incidence
congratulations on the gig
fashion is really cool its very french i like that
and your choice of contrasted backgound is quirky
although for imprvement i think citras closet is a label synonamous with paris
i feel shooting this at night at a moody looking cafe with smoke and muted tones would suit the brand better
very good first try with a fashion label

Thans for the comments Wayne and Craig, I do agree about the cropped off garmet in the first.
Wendell - you sure it's the same label? This lady is a Thai designer with a shop in Richmond???
