70-200 Vr @ 100kph

Took this shot today as i was a passanger in my own car son was driving lol so i could sit in the back seat and take some shots
i wanted to use the active on vr too see how well it worked
this shot has some PP done in nx ie, color control points & 100% crop

Love the colours.
Why not embed the photo in your post instead of having to click on the link? Easy to do with smugmug hosted photos. (Just click on Img before you paste the link, and then Img*...and the medium size images are usually OK from the size point of view)
The 70-200 is a great lens. You should have a lot of fun.

Yes...but its "goodness" for sports is it's great optics, its fast autofocus, its wide aperture (2.8 ) and its ability to mate with teleconverters, but not the VR.

you are so right & i did acually have a 1.4TC on at the time
i just wanted to see how the active worked in a moving car i was happy with the results
i usually have the vr on the d80 & the 18-50 2.8 on the D50

why dont you do a real test, DRIVE while looking through 280mm focal length... :wink:

well me driving while looking thru the viewfinder @ 280 mm might just be a little dangerouse for me let alone the rest of the public on a country road
but thats what i did while a passanger
