Third one for me.

Great composition, fantastic monochromatic conversion on it... really, really nice.

I like what you are trying to achieve in shot number 2 but the colour of the sky takes my eye away from the composition, number 3 is a winner, the leading lines draw me into the photo and then keep me there...

I've got to agree. The third one with the footbridge is excellent. That's my pick of the bunch.

#3 and #2 are terrific images. Great composition.

#1 - A bit to simple for me, doesn't hold my attention if the bottom was symetrical and straight then I may prefer it..

#2 I like this one, the exposure for the face is great, the blown flag I find a little distracting, maybe 2 exposures, or just taming down the flag a little?

#3 My favourite, some much to like in this, the curves, the lines, the shadows, I like it alot, my favourite of the set

#4 I really liek this one too, I like how the long exposure has softened the foliage, but the solid tower is sharp and well exposed.. an unusual shot but one I really like.

I prefer the second and fourth pics.

2nd - Love the idea and concept, but just the flag being too bright makes the image lose its impact. Maybe try using the burn tool on the flag and make it less bright.

4th - The tone of the tower is what sets it for me. On further viewing, love the way that the moving trees never blur over the tower itself. Well spotted.

The smaller photos in the post are good, but when you click to see the larger, they blow the small ones away!

I liked the sharpness in detail in 2 and 3. I agree with the others, that the flag is a bit distracting, but the detail in the face of the statue is great.

Similarly the detail in the top of the fence on the middle of the curve is spot on

I agree about the flag. Just not really sure how to tone it down. Im no PS guru

Burn and dodge sounds like a game of brandings with a fire ball to me

the third pic POPS in my opinion.....I really like this..I feel like i could walk in to the picture..Well done

Excellent lines in #3

I like them....I like the simplicity you've arranged. The conversions are also very good.

For what it is worth I like 3 and 4. I agree clicking on the thumbnails gives a much better perspective of the pictures. I like in number 3 the lines and curves and how they guide the viewer's eye; while in number 4 the sense of movement of the foliage and the stark figure of the chimney provides an almost surreal view.

I have to fess up about #4. Its a complete fluke. I just aimed the camera and hit the shutter button, then went and had a leak off the side of the bridge
