Have been playing around with combining some 800 ISO shots to get this result - longest exposure was 15 minutes, shortest exposure was 1 min..This is an area of the sky that I often image because it has such a high dynamic range and it is a real challenge to capture all that is there.
Using this method has resulted in a less noisy pic.
Exposures were 15 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes and a 1 minute.

Nice Big V, I hadn't thought of using HDR on your style of shots, but I guess you are almost doing that already when you layer mutlitple exposures to bring out the shots. Lovely stuff!
