Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

If it wasn't for the obvious icons, you'd think it was Melbourne....then again it'd be a lot darker :P

The last shot, with the showers over the right hand side, is awesome.

Hi Pat,
I agree with Patrick, the last shot is awesome. I'd like to see it with a tad more contrast? :)

I actually had added more then change my mind and drew it back.. but compared to the other shots. it was a little flat (I've just calibrated my CRT (thanks stubbsy) for the first hour it looked very weird, but I'm .. getting used to it.. (I think)

So after I left you guys still kicked on...... Damn.

Last shot is cool with the rain coming down, but I think I like the first one with the clear blue sky. What a nice day it was.

Lucky I was home, showered and resting when it started to rain.

Nice pics man :)

Craig,

good storyline of showing the weather through the day. Like the others, last one is my fav, just add a bit more contrast.

I almost got caught in the rain when I went to meet my wife at Darling Harbour. It was the perfect excuse to sit down with Mr James Squire.

To answer a question from another post, yes, I did have two hats

Cheers,

André
