Not bad, Tim. Not bad at all. :up:

Minor comment, the yellow of the bucket is nice & vibrant, but you might want to change the white bit on the left of the bucket so that it doesn't have quite so much green or cyan in it and just bring it to a proper white.

hey tim i agree with the above post.

Just noticed you, like me, also have a D40, can i ask you what lens you used with this shot, what lenses you have?

Just interested in what other D40 owners have and their results

Edit : just saw your sig. What lens do you plan on getting for your camera in future if u decide?

Im just using the 18-55 D40 kit lens at the moment.

Currently saving for an 18-200VR though

that sounds great, what photography are you mainly into?
I myself have a Sigma 30mm . I like no flash lowlight photos
I'm saving for a 17-55 2.8 nikon but it just costs..way too much

the only thing i have against the 18-200vr is the F3.5
