Hehe, everyones still looking closely for the model, or band member...

Having found none, I'll try to give you some feedback on these.

#1 I like it, the sun isn't to blown out, you have some dynamic cloud, and the 2 birds flying overhead add interest. I'm in two minds about the top of the shot.. part of me wants to crop it close, the other wants a pano and to remove it entirely.. I think the shot has potential with a number of different crops.. that said, doesn't scream Africa to me, as I'd be expecting (sterotypically) plans and the one or two long trees, not so much vegetation.. obviously a bad assumption for parts of Africa.. but you know..

#2 This one has a lot less impact for me, while the sliver of sun is nice, and silheouette of the trees and the tone in the sky are all pleasing, there isn't a cloud or a bird or anything to keep my interest longer in the photo.. not a bad shot, just one I can't linger on

#3 Trickey.. it seems from here a nice moon shot, plenty of detail from here it looks sharp.. lots of negative space.. and then a rouge M and part of an a.. I think it was a fun idea to try, but it doesn't really excite me in anyway..

#4 I quite like this one, you've got the nice line of cloud, and the sun.. it makes me look at it, again and again.. (not sure why) but its captivating..
I'd have liked more at the bottom, so that the cloud line and the tree line were roughly at thirds vertically..
I like how the cloud seems to be steaming or bubbling off the sun, very cool affect.

Hopefully that is enough loving..

Ok I'll try to restate it clearer.

In my minds eye when I think of Africa, I think of wide sweeping plans, distant mounts, and the occasional tree, usually with some wild animal in silheouette, Simba, a Zebra whatever.. when I hear Africa, that's what appears in my head..

That isn't to say africa doesn't have treelined hills like in your photo, but it doesn't instantly click in my head.

I hope that makes more sense.
