Guess I better show some of the outfits on the runway The lighting on the night wasn't crash hot and it was held in a club on their outdoor area. With the smaller shows, it's usually with a constant strobe and no tracking spot.

Really happy about this show as it's one of the few which I've attended where all the girls gave me eye contact at the end of the runway.

Number 4 for me.....great poise.....they look a little soft though?

With the lighting you had, maybe thats why...

that runway lighting is darn horrible

technically you still managed to get a steady shot
did you contemplate using flash?

if you get into the same circumstances again use soft fill flash use a 1/250 f4..5
low iso
that will kill the background(make it black) but the exposure on the model would be fine

Thanks Wendell. I contemplated using flash but didn't want to be a flash bunny during the show. I thought I was early when I arrived, however they were already going thru a run and didn't get a chance to take a few quick test shots. Something else for me to keep in mind for future.
