Had the opportunity to work for these guys along with a team of about a dozen other photographers both local and from interstate. Basic brief was to "get a shot of everybody" and shoot "tight" and nothing too "creative". I found a big difference in aiming for ~20 odd useable shots from a day to having to delete less than 20. Got rostered onto the Netball (fit women, yay!), Beach Volleyball (fit women in bikinis, yay!) and the Boxing (lucky enough to be the only tog allowed on the ring, yay again!). All pretty hard to shoot because of the indoor lighting and the action but wasn't complaining.
Anyhow - few of the images in the library I picked out while processing each night - straight out the camera too

18 MAR 2007 - Got kicked out of the "wooden surface" at ETSA Park pretty quickly, darn overzealous volunteers and referees. Had to find alternate angles, one of the courts had a staircase to shoot down from.

18 MAR 2007 - Two things sold reaaaaly well - the Body Building and the Toughest Competitor Alive category

24 MAR 2007 - Some happy athletes at the closing ceremony

24 MAR 2007 - Couldn't get the angle I needed to shoot from for the Convention Centre / Torrens shot, kept moving around until the fireworks went off when it was a sudden scramble to get "something".

24 MAR 2007 - The German Womens Open team at the Beach Volleyball at Glenelg.
