Boyd's Rainforest Dragon to be precise. Was lucky enough to be invited to shoot a private collection with Finch. Amazing critters :D

Very nice Mark, my preference of shots would got #1 #3 and #2 (the angle doesn't appeal to me as much in #2).

It does look atleast on my display like #1 is a little heavy on the sharpening.. not way over done, but just a little.. (but it could just be me).

Is there a reason #1 was ISO 800 when the other two are ISO 100 ?

Thanks,
Craig

Thanks Craig, I was trying to use the last of the natural light (always my preference) so ISO800. ISO back to 100 when I changed to twin flash. :D

Interesting as I couldn't really see a big difference in lighting from the first to the last.. (how does the twin flash work) is that the one that is like a ring flash ?

Superb

The first 2 were at ISO800 while the light was fading then I changed to ISO100 for the flash setup.

Used the D200 on board flash as master and had the SB800 with lightsphere off to the left and an SB600 to the right diffused through a white umbrella.

All shot with the Sigma 180 f/3.5 Macro. That is a nice sweet lens :D

Exif suggests that only the first one was ISO 800, next two show up for me was ISO 100
