Available light ISO 1600 I think... 50mm 1.8

For your critique... What do people think about the crop? Is it ok not to have the ears in the picture...

Thanks for your comments..

I really like the way the focus is on the face but it does annoy me a bit that the ears aren't in the photo.

Cropping is totally at the discretion of the author and as such it comes down to what you like  Cute pic (and I detest cats)

i think it is a great picture and the picture draws you to the eyes and nose. I checked out the picuter first and then noticed the crop and i don't think it takes anything away from the picture

Good work

Ears are an important element of a cat, so cropping them out is a bit risky. But as Chris noted, cropping is at the discretion of the author, so it can't be wrong. People may like it or dislike it. Personally, I would prefer the ears to be in - but I think the crop works in this shot, and the shot works for the reasons stated by others. Good stuff.

It is a nice shot, for me I would like to see the ears but I think it works both ways.
