Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. I really like the first one has great feeling to it when i look at it i sense loneliness maybe i'm weird.
Number imo would may have been better if they had been walking away from you.
A clear impressionist feel here in this set Matt. Like 'em
![]() I can't help thinking, as unpalatable as it may sound to a purist, cloning out the star picket the telecom/electric pole and the light pole from this scene would just,IMHO, enhance the feeling you have engendered in this image. They just seem to hijack the viewer's attention from what is a great dramatic subject/scene. I like it best. cheers marco
Ya got me thinking on that one marcotrov. I kinda like the way the 4 verticals line up....but on the other hand removing some of them could increase the sense of isolation. A good comment.

Matt. K
Sadly you hosting is causing me viewing issues again Matt, I can only see 1 out of 3 but I like it.
You always get some nice shots when it rains. ![]()
Really like first one, tho I will try to crop out from the left pole (mesh) so nothing is pointing out of nowhere and stay more focused on the subject

Lovely shots Matt.
Just in relation to Alpha 7 having issues viewing your pics.I have a pbase account also and if you link your photos using the image properties ( http://i.pbase.com/o6/92/401592/1/76780 ... shower.jpg) instead of the link properties (http://www.pbase.com/matt_k/07_work with .jpg added to the end of it http://www.pbase.com/matt_k/07_work.jpg)sometimes your shots wont show up.I had the same problem .Has something to do with pbase when they move stuff around on there servers.
