This is a very problematic image for me and I've spent maybe 20 minutes playing with the cropping and now I'm all cropped out
I'd be interested in your comments and to make it easy I've even set up a vote.
The cropped version

Peter,
I'd remove some of the sky as well.

Peter, I agree with Gary, perhaps the top 1/3 to 1/2 of the clouds. Lovely shot though!
Such a luminous colour to the ocean!

I like the layering effect with the sky and beach being seperated by the turquoiseof the ocean. I think the crop works better but I don't feel that it is a very strong image Peter. I wonder if cloning out that small rock formation on the left hand edge would create less distraction for the viewing eye? IMHO I don't think it adds all that much to the sweeping lines in the image.
Certainly it doesn't impress me like your previous work and given that high standard this one would frankly not be one I'd see you spending too much time on.
cheers

agree with cropping the sky a bit more. Also just to make it a bit more vibrant, add a gradient layer from black to transparent and set the blending
mode to overlay (in p/shop). Should bring the clouds out a bit more.

from those two, I prefer the foreground detail of the non crop. I have never seen a beach with such beautiful water, and black sand.
alternatively, 10% off the sky on the crop might change my mind...

i like the cropped version, draws my eyes to strengthen the backgrounds detail & depth........
uncropped tends to make me focus too much on the foreground
