Had the honour and opportunity to be the principal at a friend's wedding. This is one from the portrait session, straight out of the camera and no pp. Gotta love natural lighting :)

Wayne - i like this but I feel it lacks a few necessities to make it shine. Some curves/levels adjustment might make this pop some more and perhaps a conversioin to B&W or even sepia treatment too. Food for thought but a nice shot none the less.

Thanks guys. Yup it's in St Kilda gardens Wendell.

Geoff - just wanted to show the original before I apply other stuff to it :) This is the foundation I get to work from and looking forward to it :D

That tree looks familiar  you've been there before... nice crop this time, just enough balance.

Three thoughts...
First, I like it, its well captured, nice backdrop, no "street sign" kind of colorful distractions, posing is nice.

Second thought, why not a little fill flash? Just a little, the harsh shadow of his head, onto her face, hides her expression.

Last one, thought perhaps move just a little further camera left, get a more balanced capture of the faces. (maybe asking her to lean towards the camera, would have brought her just out of that shadow, and then no flash...

All easy to say in hind sight, nice job!

Oh, PS: the grope isnt flattering for her bottom, the vail draped softly may have been more flattering.
