I have just returned from a Safari in the Sabi Sabi private game reserve (adjacent to the Kruger National Park) in South Africa. We saw many animals but here are images of the "Big 5".

1) The King (Queen) of the Jungle

2) A Female Leopard feeding on a Steenbok (killed just minutes before)

How close were you to these beasts? Did you use something really long (lens)?

smac - excellent shooting. Leopard shot is so graphic, and true to nature in the wild
