Great shots mate. These are really good, sharp, nice and contrasty (maybe helped by the overcast conditions? ), perfect shutter speed and a nice human element also, with the faces through the visors.
Excellent quality to say the least 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

hi Matt
very nice shots, wet? how did u manage the rain and equipment? I see you shoot with a 700-200mm so how close were u to the track? thanks for sharing christian check my website>> http://www.6701.sunpixs.com
yes at the end of the day it absolutely bucketed down. I didn't have a rain jacket or anything, so i was very exposed to the wet. But the weatherproofing of the d200 has held up fine.
shooting was difficult at the end, the first shot was iso800 f/5 1/250 i think so lighting wasn't the best. i used the 70-200 + 1.4x but yer, most of those shots, the bikes wernt too far away when the photo was taken. MattyO
