I have a new appreciation for surfing now that I've been to Byron.

Before Byron, didn't much interest me. Just saw greasy haired guys riding blocks of fiber in an ocean that was more interested in eating them up than letting them ride all over it.

But now, I see it as a graceful and yet spectacular thing to watch. I still think the ocean wants to eat them up, but that's their problem, not mine. I'll just take the pictures.

I love the look of the third shot, very serene, while the second and fourth are quite powerful and ominous.

Leigh, number 3 is a great shot IMHO.
My next fav here would be #2 - but I would crop or clone the top left corner.

Really like the third Leigh. This works on so many levels.

Really like #3. One is also pretty good.

#4 doesn't do much for me, looks like there is a lot of noise in it. Would be hard to get the exposure right though with the reflections off the water. Have they been pp at all?
