Just returned from my travels in Thailand, just thought I'd say a quick 'hi' to all. Obviously, I've got a lot of posts to catch up on.

These are a couple of captures I got from visiting a hill tribe village up in far north Thailand.

Alex - to get beautiful shots like this makes a trip to N/Thailand really worthwhile :)

Alex, like the 2nd one.
The first looks a little on the orange side on my monitor.

You have here two nice shots. I prefer the second one because of the colours. The first one has a very bright background for my taste, but I would know how to fix it myself unless you superimposed the image with a different background. I love the look of the child staring at the camera.

Thanks for the comments, every one. LOL Chris... they stopped groving poppies long ago as far as I know.

Methd: It is part of their traditional make-up, I guess and is some kind of white paint. Or let's hope it is, at least....

I'm not too keen on the background in the first one and also the colours, later I can adjust easily.

Cheers
Alex
