Love the last shot. Colours are very rich. As said above, looks like a postcard image.

In the last one I was trying to do a quintessential Hobart shot. The "Cartella", Siscos, the Govt buildings and not to forget Mt Welllington.

Thanks for the comments Aloysius and Technik. It's interesting what you said about over sharpening, as I hadn't picked these as being oversharpened, can't see any sharpening haloes etc. Maybe it was just very good camera technique and a sturdy tripod. :wink: The HDR technique I used to produce this image does utilise local rather than global contrast to give the images more punch and that does make them look quite sharp.

I did get some feedback from someone else about the 3rd one being a bit soft, so that's the other side of the equation.

To me it's all a learning experience. And how much and how little sharpening to use is an important factor. Thanks for bringing the point up.
