Some great shots there john...but i dont think the frame does them justice. It keeps drawing my eye from the photos.

Thanks for the feedback Big V and Aloysius. I tried to make the images I posted tell a story of young and old.

Good point about the frame. I used to be the world's biggest "I hate frames" person. What started me using these farmes was that my photo web site is primarily white on black background and this type of frame seems to work well in that context. I've tried to keep the frames simple because I really do believe the image needs to stand on it's own and not rely on the frame. However it's a bit of a comprimise for both forum display and web site display.

Hi there John,

Great series of shots, mind you the first one scared the hell out of me :D. has taken me many years to get that persons face out of my head.....lol just kidding. Tony is a nice guy and is well suited to the drum majots role.

You have done well on these.

Nice commentary on the March John. My favourite is the first followed by the last, but each has part of the story to tell that makes the whole. For me the frames are a little too grandiose, something a little simpler would of suited me fun, but it's a matter of taste.
