Here's another shot from the group of Snow Leopards I took the other day at Taronga Zoo. Slight crop used.
A male portrait.

Marc,

As a specialist nature photographer, I have to say that this shot is simply stunning!

You have captured a great moment, lighting is brilliant, composition spot-on and is so incredibly sharp.

Very, very nice indeed :D

Cheers

Michael

beautiful shot Marc,

certainly one of the best shots of the big cats that I've seen.

Well done,

André

Great shot Marc, and you have managed to retain both eyes in focus, even at 2.8!

I'd just like to echo comments already made. Composition is spot on, the shot is razor sharp and the lighting is superb (and the cats cooperated for you too). It feels like I'm in the cage with him.

Superb pussy shot Marc showing the beauty of not only the lens and photographer, but the D2Hs sensor too

Fantastic shot Marc. Simply fantastic. BTW, if you ever get sick of that lens, just ship it down to me in Tassie. I'll look after it for you. :)

Cheers

After that many glowing comments, the "this photo is temporarily unavailable" comment on the image is particularly vexing!! I wanna see!!

I echo earlier comments.

It's the sharpness that really grabs the attention.

Well done indeed.

What cage? :D

Marc
Nice work. Those things are hard to photograph because they are always sleeping or hiding.

Many thanks everyone for all the positive comments. :D
I'd have to say that I'm really enjoying this 300 VR.
You can't really go too wrong with it, and also the very co-operative Snow Leopards played a big part in this image
Can't wait to use it on the Leopards in Zambia in Sept. If only they'd be this co-operative !

Cheers
