I went up to the Ironfest at Lithgow today (Saturday) and it poured with rain on and off but the shows still went ahead

it poured during the battle re-enactment

French canon at the start of the battle, the painting like effect comes from the very heavy rain at the time

the sun came out for the jousting

I ran into Oscar (Mick) and his wife also braving the rain while Mick was trying out his brand new toy (I wont spoil his thunder)
if your not doing anything today (Sunday now that it is past midnight) the weather was on the improve so take a quick trip up there, it is well worth it

I like the action of the jousting shot ... but the blacksmith shot is probably my favourite. Looks like a fun event.

I went to Ironfest, and there were many interesting characters in attendance. The rain made it a challenge keep the lens free from splatters. I like your shots, Keith, much better than anything I took.
Anyway, here is a couple from me.

Keith, you got some great images despite the rain. I especially like the action in the canon and jousting shots. You got some great colours.

Cheers
John
