Managed a list side seat but facing the sun. Awsome to watch.
Nearly got wiped out by splintered lance a couple of times.

Last one is a great shot, I'd like to see more detail in the shadows though.

Hi Colin,
Looks like a great event. Where was this on at?

Hi Dave
Ironfest, held in the Lithgow showground. It was a bit wet on Saturday, but I believe Sunday was better. Lots of unusual things to see.

As Bob said Lithgow.
It was an interesting day. There were some other photographers about as well. The jousting was what I went there for.

Thanks guys.
I'll have to find out when it's next on. Is it an annual event?

Yep, it's an annual event. Always thought those Lithgow Folks were living in the dark ages....
Nice pics, can you recover anything from the shadows?

I should be able to pull some detail out of the last one fairly easily.
#1 was basicly a silhouette before I gave it a thump in PP.
Hence the colour noise in his face etc.

This is a good set of images let down by being a touch underexposed. I think you'd be able to give these more punch with a slight exposure or curves adjustment and/or a shadow & highlight adjustment. Shots 2 and 4 are the best since both give a sense of timelessness (no
modern distractions)
