A group of us from work went to Harold Park near Glebe on Friday (They: to get drunk. Me: to take photos of horses.... and to get drunk).
Unlike cars, I found that in harness racing, the horses and riders move more in two dimensions than, say, cars (which don't move up/down quite so much), which you kind of have to live with. Also, I'm not sure, but I think unlike cars, a bit of motion blur doesn't hurt as much on an animal.

A very difficult subject to photograph methinks which maybe explains why there is hardly any images of the trots anywhere. The jockey on number 1 in the first image is very small
