So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Nice Reflections Alex, you have all the key features of a good landscape here, some fore ground interest, reflections to add interest, the nice big mountain in the background. It make me wonder what's around the next bend. I think the only thing that lets it down is the time of day and the washed out sky. I'd try to bring a bit more detail and spunk back into the sky and see how that works, as its a very good landscape but it's lacking the final touches to be a great shot. (IMO)

If there is one thing I don't like about this photo, it's the sky, as you pointed out. That's the problem with tropics, the sky is rarely blue and often hazy even if it's a fine day. I was thinking of substituting the sky with a totally deep blue one or giving it a bluer tint, but I'm not sure if I will do that as haziness was part of the atmosphere.. I will think about it. Another beautiful location Alex, and as Craig has commented, all key features for a great landscape. Unlike Craig, I can understand when a sky is not a brilliant blue - you have to live in the UK to appreciate dull 
Con’s Needs a contrast boost through curves to give it more punch. Chris

Sorry If I gave the wrong impression about the sky, I've spent plenty of time in Singapore and you get one day a week with a decent sky for photos, the rest you just have to make do. I was merely suggesting that it could me made a little more dramatic with some level adjustment or dodge and burn tools.

This suggestion may be too late but did you use a CPL in this shot?
It may have given the sky more punch. This might be a great candidate for a HDR conversion (for inspiration look at POTW)
