Another one from the park the other morning, ISO140 this time, don't ask I thought I set it all the way back to 100 but didn't...

What do you think of the composition? I'm in two minds. I like it but is it too heavily weighted on the left hand side?

a tighter crop will help but a very nice image........ crop just under the little finger, back of hand, and just enough to leave the bar in at the top about half of what you now have at the top.......

Does the eye area seem a little dark to you?

And a bit of brightening, although it looks a little flat to me, so perhaps a bit more work required.

Brett great image here. I think Bernie and Binky's suggestions are spot on and have turned it into a real winner.

Brett - the crop has changed the perspective on this beautiful shot to a winner (spot on Bernie). Also I agree about the eyes, a tad of fill flash would have made a great deal of difference.

Brett, The last one ... the reflection in his eyes .. really catches the my eye.

I came to this one late, but great to see the forum working to positively improve a image. The crop improve the composition and then some extra tweaking brought back the detail in the eyes, which was sorely lacking in the original. You've not got a winner that will look great on the wall, well done!

I really think that I will be purchasing a SB600 or SB800 at some stage, the pop-flash just doesn't clear the hood all that well
