The stormy weather we have been getting here has kicked up a good swell in the river mouth. Got some nice shots today of guys surfing.

The first one I really like, you get a feeling of being out in the midist of the wild surf. I'd be included to try to up the contrast or atleast tweak the surfer so he stands out a little, he feels a little "washed out" if you'll pardon the pun.

#2. I really like this one, my favourite of the bunch, composition works well, it's got some drama in it, the anticipation of the surfer checking out the surf, and timing his launch into the ocean. The bouy ? out to see also adds to the dramatic tension. I'd say a few other crops could work well long with the one you have chosen. I'd try reducing the amount of free space on the RHS, and see how it plays.

#3 Not a huge fan of the unsubtle vignetting, and the centre feels a bit drab and dull, not sure if that isn't made worse by the vignetting but I'd try reducing it and trying to give the shot a little more pop. Composition, and action wise its fine, I don't the the PS helps improve it IMO.
